In this role, you will provide engineering expertise in the execution of strategic worldwide aseptic beverage projects. On these projects, you will develop and ensure compliance between technical requirements and equipment specifications; perform equipment design review and factory acceptance testing applicable to GMP processing equipment and develop proposals for management of strategic projects. You will interface with external resources, customers, and equipment vendors as well as internal site project teams in the execution of strategic projects.
Familiarity with the GMP in Manufacturing, Processing, Packaging, and Human Food; Quality Systems regulations. Experience working in regulated industries and knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements: FDA regulations, Good Engineering Practices (GEP), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Specific tasks can include:
- Understand, trouble-shoot and fix software logic and mechanical assemblies as needed.
- Draft operations and maintenance manuals in accordance with the designs and equipment.
- Participate in the installation/startup/testing of machinery at customer facilities.
- Participate in electrical and controls installation and supervision at customer facilities as needed.
- Perform machine testing, experiments, and debug activities to ensure designs reliably meet the project requirements.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automation, Chemical, or other engineering related fields. Minimum of one year of progressive experience within the project engineering field; ideal candidate will have managed in the past similar projects within the Food and Beverage Manufacturing area.
In addition to be specialized on food and beverage programs that combine subjects from mechanical, process, electrical and automation/ control engineering may be a big advantage. Extensive previous plant maintenance or facilities experience can also provide a route into these senior positions without the need for any university qualification.
